Marie A. Cini, Ph.D. is president of the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) and works to help colleges, universities, employers and workforce regions find points of collaboration and connection with adult working learners.

Her career spanning more than 25 years includes extensive experience as an academic administrator in universities that predominantly serve adults.

Previously, Cini administered programs for adults at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Penn., Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, N.J., and served as associate vice president for academic affairs and interim dean of the School of Management at City University of Seattle in Washington.

Cini earned her doctoral and master’s degrees in social psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and holds a master’s degree in counselor education from the Pennsylvania State University.
